Determinant Analysis of Employee’s Interest in Making Personal Financial Planning

Personal financial planning needs to be done by an employee. However, in practice there are several problems that hinder this such as: the low level of financial knowledge in Indonesian society, the lack of financial discipline, and the large number of consumption levels that exceed the limit. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence employee interest in making personal financial planning. The financial attitude, social influence, and financial self-efficacy variables will act as independent variables that will affect the dependent variable, namely personal financial planning. This research was conducted in the Bekasi area by taking a sample of 172 respondents. The sampling method used purposive sampling and analyzed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The result is that the financial attitude and financial self-efficacy variables have a positive and significant effect on personal financial planning and the social influence variable has no effect on personal financial planning.

ANALISIS PENGARUH FAKTOR DEMOGRAFI, SOSIAL DAN PSIKOLOGI TERHADAP TINGKAT LITERASI KEUANGAN DALAM PERENCANAAN KEUANGAN MASYARAKAT (Studi Kasus Masyarakat Kota Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung)

This study aims to analyze  whether there is a direct and indirect influence of the variables of Demographic Factors, Social Factors, Psychological Factors and Financial Literacy Levels on Financial Planning.This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The technique used in sampling is non-probability sampling and purposive sampling by distributing questionnaires to 100 people with an age range of 20-40 years in the Pangkalpinang City. The analysis method used is Path Analysis.The results found in this study are 1) Demographic factors do not directly affect financial literacy. This means that a person's ability to manage his finances does not depend on demographic factors such as gender, age, income and others. However, demographic factors have an indirect influence mediated by the variable level of financial literacy which has a significant influence on financial planning. 2) Social factors do not have a direct and significant effect on financial literacy where the results of this study indicate that a person's intelligence in managing his finances does not depend on social factors such as the social environment including family, friends and place of residence. This study also cannot prove that there is a significant indirect effect of social factor variables mediated by financial literacy level variables on financial planning. 3) Psychological factors have a direct and significant effect on financial literacy. This shows that a person's intelligence to be able to manage his finances is based on the person's inner self in the form of awareness, experience and motivation within himself. This study can also prove that there is an indirect and significant influence on psychological factors that have an indirect effect mediated by the variable level of financial literacy on financial planning. 4) Financial Literacy has a direct and significant effect on financial planning. This shows that the higher the level of a person's financial literacy, the higher the level of financial planning.

How do The Macroeconomics Variables Influence the Net Asset Value (NAV) Growth of Sharia Mutual Funds in Indonesia?

The macroeconomic indicators play an essential role in expanding the Islamic capital market sector in Indonesia, particularly Islamic mutual funds, furthermore monetary stability in the domestic economy will affect the increase in people who invest their funds in Islamic mutual funds instruments. Net asset value (NAV) is one of the indicators used in measuring the performance of a mutual fund, based on data on the net asset value of Sharia mutual funds in Indonesia in the last two years, it has decreased until the new normal era. This research aims to determine how macroeconomic indicators affect the net asset value of Sharia mutual funds partially and simultaneously in Indonesia from January 2017 to October 2022. Monthly data over the 2017-2022 period were analyzed using the Linear Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) regression method, with inflation, BI Rate 7 days repo, money supply, exchange rate, and index of ISSI (Indonesia Sharia Stock Index) as independent variables, and net asset value of Sharia mutual funds as the dependent variable. According to the study's findings, this research shows that partially, money supply, exchange rate, and index of ISSI significantly influence the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds in Indonesia, on the other hand, the inflation and BI rate had an insignificant effect on the net asset value of Islamic mutual funds. Simultaneously, all exogenous variables affect the net asset value of Islamic Mutual Funds in Indonesia.

Maqashid Sharia Perspective and the Opportunity of Blue Sukuk for Sustainable Development Goals in Indonesia

This study aims to examining how Islam can contribute to the protection of the environment by exploring the maqashid sharia approach. It also investigates the potential of using blue sukuk investments in managing marine ecosystems to attain sustainable development goals in Indonesia. The concept of hifdh al-'alam or environmental protection is an integral part of maqashid al-sharia, which aims to safeguard all living creatures. This aligns with sustainable development goals number 14, which focuses on preserving the ocean ecosystem. The management of marine fishing in Indonesia poses several challenges that jeopardize the sustainability of fish resources, livelihoods, food security, and economic growth. To address these issues, there is a significant need for financing instruments to develop the marine sector. Blue sukuk provides an opportunity to finance this sector. The development of regulatory aspects, feasible underlying projects, investors, and inter-institutional coordination are critical for the successful implementation of blue sukuk. Key stakeholders with interests in blue sukuk are the government, investors, and fishery communities. Islamic financial institutions and mechanisms may play a significant role in the issuance and development of blue sukuk in Indonesia in the future.

The Influence of Factors on Sharia Financial Management Behavior: SEM Approach

The high muslim population and the trend of halal living have resulted in increasing interest and growth in the islamic finance industry today. For every individual and company, financial management behavior is an important factor in making good financial decisions, especially in the context of Islamic finance. This research was conducted to find out whether factors such as sharia financial literacy, halal lifestyle, help seeking, locus of control, and sharia financial attitudes have an influence on sharia financial management behavior. This study involved 226 respondents from the JABODETABEK area who were at least 18 years old. The data were analyzed using SEM-PLS method. The results showed that all these factors have a positive correlation with sharia financial management behavior. However, when talking about a halal lifestyle, this research concludes that this halal lifestyle has a significant impact on sharia financial management behavior with sharia financial attitudes as moderation. The findings of this research provide important implications for the JABODETABEK region in developing strategies to increase sharia financial inclusion. Navigating Islamic Investments: The Role of Islamic Financial Literacy, Religiosity, and Motivation using PLS-SEM

Along with the increasing number of investment transactions which continued to soar until the end of 2023, the Islamic Capital Market is additionally playing its role in improving the economy in Indonesia, especially for Muslims who want to carry out investment transactions within the Sharia corridor. This research aims to find out whether Islamic financial literacy, religiosity, and investment motivation significantly influence on investment intention in the Islamic Capital Market with a case study of Muslims in Bogor. The object is chosen Bogor is one of the largest Muslim regions in West Java, as the province itself is the top ten largest Muslim community in Indonesia. The results of research using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square) show that Islamic financial literacy has no significant effect on investment intention in the Sharia Capital Market as the T-Statistic is being rejected (0.524> 0.05), but religiosity (0.001< 0.05) and investment motivation (0.000< 0.05) are proven to have a significant influence on investment motivation in Sharia Capital Market as the T-Statistics are being accepted. However, this study complements previous research differentiating the research scope and summoning some variables that was used in the previous research. Religiosity is measured by the respondent’s consideration of Islamic law in investment institutions, while investment motivation means the respondent’s desire to fulfill their physiological needs, sense of safety needs, social needs, esteem needs, and self-actualization needs.

The Influence of Factors on Students’ Financial Management: SEM Approach

This study aimed to identify the factors influencing student financial management in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The study included 206 Jakarta Metropolitan Area respondents who met the following criteria: active students at Jakarta Metropolitan Area universities aged 17 to 25 years. The study employed the SEM-PLS method as the primary analysis approach. The results indicated that several factors showed positive and negative correlations on student financial management in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. Specifically, self-control and financial literacy, which are internal factors, influenced financial management, while allowances and good lifestyle, which are external factors, had no influence. These findings suggest that individuals tend to manage their finances effectively when equipped with a thorough understanding of financial principles and strong self-control. The results of this study offer significant practical implications for the Jakarta Metropolitan Area government in designing strategies to increase financial inclusion more effectively. This study emphasizes the importance of self-control and financial literacy as the main factors affecting financial management skills among college students, and lifestyle factors and the amount of pocket money have no significant effect. Furthermore, financial institutions can use these findings to develop better financial products to meet consumers' preferences for sound financial principles. By providing a better understanding of the factors influencing financial management, this research can contribute to more responsible, sustainable, and compliant financial management within society.

Pengaruh Faktor Makroekonomi terhadap Nilai Outstanding Sukuk Korporasi di Indonesia Tahun 2016-2021

This study aims to analyze the effect of macroeconomic factors on the outstanding corporate sukuk in Indonesia. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary data, in the form of a time series from January 2016 to October 2021. The method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with an error rate of 5%. From this study, it was found that macroeconomic factors that have a significant influence on the outstanding value of corporate sukuk in Indonesia are the BI Rate, money supply, and exports variables. Factors that have no effect on the outstanding value of corporate sukuk in Indonesia are inflation variable and the USD exchange rate. Inflation, BI Rate, money supply, USD exchange rate and exports simultaneously affect the outstanding value of corporate sukuk in Indonesia
